It is hereby notified that the unitary production enterprise “Polotsk Dairy Plant”: 211413, Polotsk, ul. Frunze, 35, polotskmilk@mail.ru, tel./fax: 8 (0214) 48-11-20,47-24-47 has submitted an application to the Vitebsk Regional Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection for obtaining a comprehensive environmental permit for the operation of the facility According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 528 of 17.11.2011.

The present operating enterprise was commissioned in 1987. The main activities of the unitary production enterprise “Polotsk Dairy Plant” are the production and sale of whole milk products, butter, mayonnaise, ice cream, milk powder. The products of the enterprise under the trade mark “Molochnoe expanse” correspond to all modern technological requirements and norms. Over the period from 2009 to October 2015, there was an increase in production capacity for the production of whole milk products due to the modernization of production. An additional line for the production of glazed curd bars, a line for the production of cottage cheese, a line for bottling milk and dairy products in a PET bottle, and a line for the production of aerated products based on cottage cheese. The volume of mayonnaise production was increased by 50 percent.

The production capacity of milk processing for January — December 2017. was 91353.3 tons. In 2012, began work and in February 2017 completed work on the project: “Modernization of production with the reconstruction of ammonia compressor.” As a result of this project, the ammonia capacity of the system has been reduced to 7.0 tons.

Impact on the components of the natural environment: the emission of pollutants into the air, the consumption of water, the drainage of waste water in the urban sewer network, the management of waste (collection and delivery of waste in the prescribed manner).

In accordance with the application for a comprehensive environmental permit, the unitary production enterprise Polotsk Dairy Plant plans to carry out activities on the basis of this permit until 2028 (inclusive).

The main activities to ensure environmental safety:

Annually, a “Plan of measures for the protection of the environment” is being developed at the unitary production enterprise “Polotsk Dairy Plant”. It is planned to: maintain a constant monitoring of wastewater quality, carry out corrective measures when detecting excess DCs. Develop a project and build a sewage treatment plant for industrial wastewater. Carry out engineering work on the possibility of reducing lactose dust emissions (feasibility studies), to include this activity in the investment plan, to reconstruct the production of dried milk. Install additional containers for separate collection of waste to be transferred to the disposal site. Carry out technological measures to reduce the amount of waste. Introduce alternative energy sources, implement and certify EMS for compliance with STB ISO 14001 in 2021.
